The Irish Ports Organisation is the countrywide membership body for ports in Ireland.

We represent & support the operators that deal with 90% of all Irish Ports cargo, ships & sea freight to the Republic & Nothern Ireland.

Irish Ports membership comprises of many ports, terminal operators, ports services companies and ports facilities.

Our Ports Minister

Minister Sean Canney

Sean Canney is Minister of State at the Department of Transport with responsibility for International and Road Transport, Logistics, Rail and Ports.

He was appointed to this role in January 2025.
